D. Kirk Beatty in
President & Chief Executive Officer
​​From his undergraduate days working at Duke Energy’s McGuire Nuclear Station to his previous position with Ahold-Delhaize’s Food Lion in Salisbury, Kirk Beatty was also previously employed with the formally known System Associates, Inc. and American Express Health Systems Group of Charlotte, and later with Holly Farms of Wilkesboro, NC. A member of the 2016 cohort for the Leadership Studies doctoral program at North Carolina A&T State University, Beatty plans to complete his Ph.D. in Leadership Studies in 2019. A graduate of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, Beatty received his Master of Business Administration degree in International Business from UNC Charlotte’s Belk College of Business as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from UNC Charlotte. Beatty was awarded Alumni Council Emeritus status in 2017 from UNC Charlotte’s Belk College of Business Alumni Council where he previously served being recognized as an Outstanding Alumni Advocate in 2015. Beatty currently serves on the Board of Directors for Young Black Leadership Alliance (YBLA) and The Sky Is The Limit Community Development Corporation. Additionally, Beatty has served on various boards and committees for other organizations and is active in aviation. Holding a Commercial Pilot certificate with instrument, single engine, and multi-engine ratings as well as an Advanced Ground Instructor certificate, Beatty is a volunteer pilot with Veteran’s Airlift Command. Beatty has also volunteered as an IT Coach with Apparo. Born in Charlotte, Beatty was raised in Lucia, NC, attending Mount Holly primary and secondary schools. He and his wife have a son who is a graduate of East Carolina University with a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Additionally their daughter is pursuing an undergraduate degree in Business Entrepreneurism at Western Carolina University. Beatty and his family call Mount Ulla home and are members of Milford Hills United Methodist Church in Salisbury, NC.
Danita H. Beatty in
Executive Vice-President
​​After receiving her Computer Operations diploma from Stanly Technical College in Albemarle, NC, Danita Helms began her career in 1986 with Dixie Pools in Charlotte as their computer operator. Moving to Wilkesboro in 1989 with her husband, who had relocated for a new opportunity, Danita Beatty continued her career and eventually found herself working with Food Lion in Salisbury in Accounting. Leaving Food Lion for the birth of her youngest, Danita devoted herself solely to the family until 1998 were she started assuming administrative duties for Datatech. Today Danita serves as Datatech’s Executive Vice President responsible for Corporate Services.
Mithun Sapui in
Consulting Partner
​​A native of India, Mithun Sapui received his undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering and afterwards pursued a career in IT. Mithun has an extensive knowledge of Cloud technologies and legacy systems providing application solutions, design, implementation, support, migration/modernization, and platform interfaces. Having worked on various medium to large-sized projects for multiple clients across the U.S. spanning industries in utilities, automotive, manufacturing, and eventually food retail, Mithun chose to leverage his mainframe expertise seeking career growth and enterprise-level experience by joining Datatech as a Solutions Architect eventually becoming Datatech's Director of Technology Services and Information Security. Since then Mithun has continued his career with cloud technologies, and in particular Salesforce, and continues to consult with Datatech regarding Datatech’s growth and leadership initiatives where Mithun’s contributions serve a key role. Mithun enjoys reading in his leisure and is an avid Cricket fan.
